Project : Web EOSCompany : ERA Realty Network Pte Ltd
This is an in-house web application to compute commission for the real estate agent.
It is an end-to-end solution from the registration of property sales/rental transaction, invoicing, payment, to the final commission payout.
It is a continuing development with new enhancement applied from time to time. It also serves as a platform for me to apply the latest technology such as most recent on Yui and JQuery.
Recently I have improved the export feature by generating Excel through XML, which supports multiple worksheets per Excel file (workbook), an improvement over Excel through HTML.
In fact, this application was first developed using Sybase PowerBuilder as a standalone desktop application. Well, franly speaking, the current trend is web-based which ease a lot in terms of maintenance. Therefore, I started migrating the system from PowerBuilder to Web Application. I know it is a large-scale project and require huge effort, well, just do it! :)
